Swim Lessons

At DSC, we believe in water safety for all, which begins with learning the fundamentals of swimming. Swim Lessons are offered free to the children of all members aged 5-13 and swimmers are grouped by ability not by age. Our skilled instructors will evaluate their level during the first week of lessons.

Group Swim Lesson Packages and Memberships are available for children of both members and non-members. Private swim lessons are available with membership.

Lessons from Tuesdays through Friday

Swim Levels: Lesson Level 1A (10 AM) * Level 1B (10:30 AM) * Level 2 (11 AM) * Level 3 (11:30 AM)
As a general rule, DSC starts lessons for kids who are entering kindergarten in the fall.
Children ages 5 through about 12 are grouped by age and ability.
Note: Swim and dive team follow lessons and can serve as reinforcement of the lessons. There is a nominal fee for the team to cover expenses.
